Google+ and online identity

Messing around around with Google+ this weekend I created a couple of music circles and then began populating them with music people I follow on twitter who were also on Google Plus. The twitter account I use for music stuff is under a pseudonym and my Google Profile has always been public and under my "real" name and mainly used in my work.
One of the promises of Google Plus is that you will no longer need separate accounts (for example) for different aspects of your life. It might even be able to fulfill that promise.

There are some issues however...
As I was adding all those people into my music circles I realized that most of them them (some of whom I'd been following and interacting with for some time) would have no idea who "John David Felt" was.

Online the name "John David Felt" represents the work aspect of my life.

The music aspect of my life was represented online by my twitter handle:
@poketcalculator.

Worlds colliding.
